You have invested in the BEST vinyl glazed window system available today. Let’s make sure you take proper care of them to ensure that they give you years of worry-free enjoyment!

The WeatherMaster View Flex Vinyl is a strong, resilient material specifically formulated to resist deterioration from UV rays. They do not require much maintenance but the windows must be properly cleaned with non-abrasive, ammonia/chemical free cleaner at least 2x per year. Any use of harsh chemicals or abrasive materials will void your warranty.

What you'll need:

  • Bucket

  • Hose

  • Spray Bottle (Optional)

  • 1 Microfiber Cloth + 1 Cotton Cloth

  • Cleaning Solution

    • We highly recommend Sunspace Vinyl Cleaner however mild soap & water can be used as well — do not use any products containing abrasives, ammonia, or other chemicals as they can damage the vinyl

  • Vacuum

What you’ll do:

Step 1: Begin by removing each window panel for easier access. Starting with the bottom vent, raise or lower the panel to release interlock from adjoining panel. Grasp the top of the panel with your right hand. With both hands, slide the panel to the left. Swing the panel out from the right side of the window frame.

Step 2: Vacuum the window frame to remove any leaves, dust or dirt.

Step 3: Wipe the remaining dirt away. Using your cleaning solution (mixed in a spray bottle or bucket) and a microfiber cloth, gently clean each frame and window panel.

Step 4: Spray a small amount of cleaning solution on each side of the vertical tracks and wipe with the cotton cloth to clean.

Step 5: Reverse Step 1 and replace each window panel, snapping each one back into place. Start with the panel closest to the screen and be sure to overlap each additional panel as you put them back into place.

Note: It is best to clean your windows on a warm dry day. If it is too warm of a day and they may dryer quicker than desired leaving soap sud marks on the panels.
